Opening this summer

WE HAVE EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE!

Loew Vision Rehabilitation Institute has signed the lease for its first clinical location at 239 South La Cienega Blvd (1/2 a block south of Wilshire).  Over the past year, we have been diligently looking for a location that would meet the needs of our patients and this is it… easily accessible (on the ground floor of the building, parking right next door, near a bus line) and close to the Cedars medical community.  We started renovation of the facilities in December and will keep you updated on our build-out progress.

In addition to looking for our location, we continued to build our infrastructure.  With the continued direction from our Board of Directors, we hired Dr. Patricia Buckley, our Low Vision Optometrist.  Dr. Buckley and Daniela Saxa-Kaneko, our Executive Director, have been creating the appropriate protocols as well as researching our equipment needs and compliance issues.

We look forward to opening our doors this summer for our low vision patients who so desperately need our services.
